Thank you Cloud 5 and BagLove! <3 I fell head over heels in love with this bag and had been stalking the SO for a long time. I fell in love with her when I saw missty4's pics on Bonz. Gosh it was so gorgeous. I am obsessed with this style now (I seriously cannot wait to get my Vintage Violet MM!).
I admit it, I am ADDICTED to the Matinee now. NOT GOOD. Those Suede FLAPS!! OH MY GAWWWD. They're like candy... deeelicious. I never tried the full size Matinee before, but dear god this bag is so freaking stunning. I could stare at missty4's pics ALL. DAY. It looks like candy.. I could just eat it whole. That wine leather = TO DIE FORRRR.
Cloud5, I don't post on TPF, I'm sorry! I'm only really here to take advantage of the SO's posted here. ^^; Again I'm sorry you guys have to go through all the hassle of posting about me both here and TPF. Don't apologize nelicquele...it isn't a hassel to post on both. I don't think there really is much to post now it is just a count down from this point on. You joined just in time. I have a good feeling about this SO...so I think everything will go smoothly.
The ladies on tPF are great! I really enjoy their enthusiasm, it's a stress reliever.

I REALLY REALLY hope this SO will go through SMOOTHLY.
I'm so worried that with so many problems with the other SO's and the loooooooonnng wait, I'm afraid this beauty will look like heck. I feel sorry for the BBW MAM girls. =( I'm really praying that this SO will go successfully and the Matinee's will look just as gorgeous as the past ones.
I just bought (and later resold since it was so dirty) the Light Grey full size Matinee and was able to get a hands-on feel of it for the first time. I am SURPRISED at how small it was! It WAS PERFECT!!! Yeah I heard other girls said it was too big, but I thought the bag was fine. The Mini Matties were WAY too tiny though. But ah, I'm so anticipating this wine one now. It'd be perfect! This Matinee will be my dream Mattie besides the Sage Matinees (the same leather used for the Sage/Stamped MA's / Nikki's). Le Sigh. <3

I know how you feel nelicquele I have been following what has been going on and it is a mess. I feel really bad for those girls...I hope RM will make it right for everyone....and then it makes me wonder what will happen with this SO? We are the last in among the most recent ones that went into production, so I am hoping that whatever problems that are going at the factory, QC, or whatever, will get fixed before our bags get made. This is my first SO, and I really want to put my name down for the black ink MAC, but I kind of want to see how all the issues get solved and how the next round of completed bags come out before I do. Keep your fingers crossed....
Girls I wouldn't worry too much about your Matinee. There's not too much to screw up (no basketweave or new types of hardware). I have been on 4 SO's (including the Wine MAC) and I was worried too, but every single one of them turned out perfectly and I love them. Odds are the factory hopefully is now reviewing every SO very carefully to make sure the specs are right. I think this will be an amazing bag - wine leather is a must in any Minkette's closet!
I know.. there's absolutely nothing they could do to ruin this little girl, right? I probably shouldnt worry too much. You girls are right.
2 more months.. Mid April I'm going to seriously get excited and nervous. I hope RM has begun to understand how P.O'ed these girls are after all those returns.. poor bags.
You're right Fashion1. I don't think there's anything they can mess up on.. I wish my last two SO's went thru successfully. DT 3-Zip Rocker and Pepper MM all failed! So that's why I'm so scared of this SO.
I used to have a wine Mini Beloved but the bag didn't work for me, but oh golly the leather was DIVINE. Soft, smooshy, glazed and delicious. And the red so rich and just STUNNING. I can't wait to get my hands on that leather again!!
the icing on the cake on the Mattie is the red Suede flaps for sure. OHgod, I can almost taste the yummy leather/suede already.
